wear makes up the majority of inventory at Nu Look Apparel. We prefer
designer labels but we are not exclusively a designer shop. |
What sells best:
- like-new
couture labels
- natural
fibers: silk, wool, cotton and linen
- like-new,
lightly worn, shoes, purses, jewelry and accessories.

slacks, skirts, jeans, sets, suits, dresses, pant suits, coats,
sleep attire, swim suits, exercise wear, formal and holiday wear
In great condition
Clean,
pressed, on hangers or neatly folded in baskets (not
in large bags)
3 years old or less (exceptions may be made for
classic styles)

in excellent shape, with labels. We make an exception to
the 3 year old or less rule for designer labels. Other
purses must be 3 years old or less and in perfect condition.
- scarves:
if the label is attached or the designer's name/logo is apparent
- belts:
traditional or trendy
- jewelry:
exceptional one-of-a-kind & traditional fashion
What
doesn't work for us:
- bridal
gowns
- furs
- lingerie
(other than sleepwear)
- labels
from Target, Wal-mart, etc., lower-priced brands such as
Xhilaration, Mossimo, Merona
- items
without labels
- items
with stains, missing buttons, rips or snags
- wrinkled
items
- items
with mothball or other odors
