How does it work?

• Clothing is priced by our staff at approximately 1/3 of retail value. We usually set the prices after you leave your items for consignment. If you prefer to be present when we price, you must make an appointment. You can give us input about prices (for unique items, the original retail prices help).
• You receive 50% of the selling price.
• If, after 60 days, an item has not sold, the price is reduced by half.* If it has not sold after an additional 30 days, it becomes the property of Nu Look, and will not track to your account.

  * Please note: an exception to the above selling period occurs twice annually prior to our 1/2 price clearance sales on the second Thursday of July and the second Thursday of January.

How will I know when an item has sold?

• With so many items for sale, and over 12,000 consignors, we are unable to notify you when individual items sell. You are always welcome to drop in and request an update.

When and how will I receive payment?

• We will issue up to one check per month (if over $10.00) at your request. Just drop in! Photo ID required.
• If you choose not to pick up your check, we will mail you a check at the end of the consignment period (with a 75 cent postage and handling fee).

What if I decide not to sell something, or I don't want it sold at 1/2 price?

• You have the option of picking up your items anytime before the expiration date. We will give you a list of items that have not sold, to help you locate your items.
• Please plan enough time to locate your items, as we may not have time to assist you.
• Photo ID required for pick up.
